This was the path down to the Garden. It was very steep and rutted...
But, when you came out of the woods at the bottom, it was oh-so charming! Lovely garden, great place for the kids to play and yummy food! What more can you ask?
Right by the entrance was a view point for the waterfall. It wasn't huge, but it was very pretty...
Tricia and Mallory await the tastiness that is to come...
The family that runs the place has small children so they had created all these lovely things to keep the kids busy. William was pumping water for so long, I thought the creek would run dry!
Charlie was enchanted by these horses, and the swing set was really fun too! They also had large pieces of wood to build with, sort of like large Lincoln Logs...
Charlie got the honor of doing the french press for Daddy's coffee...
The sisters found the swing in the yard and settled in...
It was hand carved out, which is awfully impressive.
On top of the cave, someone had carved out these seats in the stones. It was so fun! The view from the top was fantastic!
The other chair...
Our clan on top...
View from within the cave...
Charlie is always happy to ride along in the Ergo...
The woods in England felt different from the woods in America. I honestly felt like Little John and Robin Hood should be swinging out of a tree at any moment...
