Starting to Feel Like Home...

We have been very busy this week getting the old apartment cleaned and ready to turn over Tuesday. Having a month to get the move over with actually didn't seem to help in a lot of ways, it just seemed to allow us to procrastinate more.... But now it's done, and I will have it inspected Tuesday morning in the hopes we will get our damage deposit back...I won't hold my breath. William had a ball today when Gabbi and Alessandra came to visit. He is playing with Gabbi a lot more now, they seem closer to the same age at this stage. We BBQ'd again, and just sat out on the deck enjoying the weather and good friends. This week Aunt Joan and Uncle Jim are coming to town, so we are looking forward to seeing them again. They will get to meet William for the first time, so hopefully he won't scare them! LOL!

Super Soaker...

William is holding it. Then, letting it ALL go at once! He has soaked through 3 diapers today! The time has come for potty training again. I think we going to start working on it again next week....

Weekend Update...

Sorry for the picture in the dark, but here is my new baby I earned by taking care of Kelsey and Jack! We grilled on it tonight and it is FANTASTIC!
My Mom bought William this cool wagon for him to ride in around our new neighborhood! Thanks Grandma!
William "climbing" his mountain. He loves going up and down...
Friday, I took the kids to the Meadowside Nature Center. We had a great time, and saw lots of interesting creatures...

Will loves to turn over logs and watch the bugs run for their lives!

We saw 4 deer in the woods. They let us get really close, which scares me at a certain point...

William was "feeding" his kitty gravel in the parking lot....

William was helping Daddy put up new cable wires in the basement. He was a big help!
We are trying to get settled still and my wireless internet isn't working, so updates are tougher now. Kelsey and Jack start back to school Monday so life will now resume it's normal programming. ( I hope!) Funny story for the day: William was reaching up on the counter trying to get the lighter-stick thingy that I use for the citronella candles, and I said, "What do you want William?" and he answered " I want DANGEROUS!" LOL! Too cute!

Busy Days...

We have been so busy with all the house things, plus watching Kelsey and Jack we have barely had time to breathe! We went to the Children's Museum in Baltimore on Monday, (I forgot the camera) and we braved the rain and went to the Air and Space Museum today. William has been loving the new house and yard, and has moved about 25 pounds of sand out of his sand table already! Funny Story: There is an apple tree 3 houses down and William is OBSESSED with it! The other day he was mid diaper change and asked to use the potty, so I let him get up and before I realized what he was doing he ran out the front door and took off down the sidewalk BUCK NAKED! I yelled at him to come back and he yelled "I want apples!" Such a crazy little guy!

Unpacking....

William spent much of his time skating around the house...
There are these odd little shelves in the master bedroom, which work perfectly for a crafty nook!

Bathroom, with wrinkled shower curtain...
Already full closet in master bedroom...
Our bedroom, basically good to go...just need pictures on the walls, and some various piles of stuff around...
Will's room, this series is to show how "snug" it is...

We thought that shelf fit very nicely in the closet...

He slept in his bedroom last night, and it didn't seem to phase him a bit!
Our office, partially completed.

Yep, It's All Worth It!!

Spending an hour, outside, in our yard, planting our flowers, suddenly made all the moving hassle seem very worth it. I love seeing him living like a kid should. A bit dirty, but very happy!

Lowes is Our New Home...

I have been to Lowe's more in the last week than I have been in my entire life! We went twice just today! William loves it though because he can ride all the John Deere lawn mowers. He is improving, but still not 100%. He seems fine as long as I give him Ibuprofen regularly. I think he has Coxsackie, because today I saw little blisters on the back of his mouth, and he refuses to eat, and that usually points to Coxsackie. So, at least he can't ever get it again! In other news, the house is coming together nicely, and we will start really moving in furniture tomorrow. I will post pictures as we get stuff organized.

Feelin' Hot,Hot,Hot!!

Poor William. He developed a bad fever on Wednesday night all of a sudden. We were at Lowes and I literally saw him get sicker and sicker in minutes! I stopped at the grocery store and bought a thermometer and Tylenol and his temp was 103.7! We took him home and stripped him down, and soon he was feeling better and his temp was down. Since then it has been up as high as 105, and it seems to go lower during the day, but then spikes around 5pm, and during the night. He woke us up at 6:30 this morning with 105.1 and acting strange. I was really afraid he was going to have a seizure. I think we may have to wake him up at night to give him medicine if it keeps getting so high...I hate to do it, but we may have no choice. We'll see how much moving we actually get done this weekend...
