Molly Takes the Plunge...

Early in the morning Jason and I met up with Richard to take all the food to the hall, and I still had to assemble the cake and decorate it...one of the most stressful things I have ever done.  Seriously. These sweetheart roses were part of the cake decor...

Mallory was stretched thin that day trying to help all of us with our hair and makeup...

It was fun though getting ready all together...

The boys were getting all dressed up too!

Our sweet little ring bearer...

The church...Pictures weren't allowed during the actual ceremony, which is very common in England.  There were quite a few differences from American weddings.  The Bride walks down first, before her bridesmaids, and the attendants sit during the service, the only ones standing at the front are the bride, groom, and the minister.  Our Mom walked Molly down the aisle, then Mallory walked down with William carrying the rings.  Jeannette and Katie followed.  It was lovely, and Molly looked so beautiful.  It was perfect.  William, in the mean time was itching to do his part and when it came to the moment to give the rings he was READY!  He was pretty good during the service, but kept asking lots of questions, such as:  The minister said "Here in the presence of God" and Will asked: "Is God going to give us presents?"  So funny!  Charlie slept through much of it on a pew, and then woke up and Jason took him to the nursery for the remainder of the service.

The Girls...

William is apparently channeling Sammy Davis Jr.

Charlie was looking very dapper...

William was very happy to have Richard be his official Uncle now...

All too soon the tie was ripped off and naturally became the perfect thing to whip stuff with...

Charlie was apparently fearing he would never have the same future as Molly and Richard...Will there ever be a rainbow??

Sisters!  Molly makes me look so short here....

Molly and Richard arrive at the reception hall in the fancy car...

The Cake.  It turned out great in the end, which I was very relieved by....
The weather was lovely for a wedding, as if God was giving us his blessing.  We got up early and loaded up the food, glasses and other stuff, and then ran out to the hall and put stuff in the fridge.  Jason and Richard went to pick up the rest of the food and I tackled the cake.  Thankfully I had Molly go through pictures the night before so I was able to get an idea of what she liked.  I was sad to take it apart later to cut it though!  The wedding was great, and then we loaded up everyone and went to the hall, which was about 30 minutes away. I helped get the food set up, and then just hung out and we all took turns chasing the kids.  William was loving all the attention, and was dancing around like a madman.  Charlie was cute and charming and then topped off the evening by soaking his outfit with diarrhea. By this time the boys were about ready to go home anyway and so was everyone else so Jason took Julie and Debbie to a bus and then came back to get us and Mallory.  We were all so happy to get to bed that night.  It all went so well and I even made it through my speech without falling apart, so it was a success!  Here's hoping that Molly and Richard have all the happiness that Jason and I have....
