"Haunt Me Forever Cathy!" or Visiting Bronte Country...

The Parsonage where the Bronte sisters lived and wrote with their father and brother...

Their Mother was literally in their front yard...no wonder they wrote such dark, tragic tales!

Pictures weren't allowed in the house, but I snuck this one...

They had a children's area in the museum portion where William, Mallory and I tried on various hats...

Out back was a large pasture, lovely views, rolling hills, and lots of farm animals...

We enjoyed the addition of the stink lines behind the dog...

Charlie was intrigued by what appeared to be a little road, just his size!

My Heathcliffe, or perhaps Rochester, excepts he let's his crazy wife run loose!

The village had all these lovely little streets, the cobbles are not stroller friendly though.  The Ergo was our friend this trip...

English cows...

The view from the path up to the top of the "Wuthering Heights"

Penistone Hill!  It turns out Cathy and Heathcliffe were extremely fit!  These were some major hills!

Needless to say, we didn't make it all the way to the top.  We took some pics in the heather and headed back to the car...
All in all it was a lovely day, and I felt like I had checked another thing off the bucket list...
