Fishing for his dinner...

William and Daddy took advantage of the great weather on Saturday and went hiking again. William came back nice and dirty and scraped up just like a real boy. He also came back with a deer tick embedded on his scalp, so now I am on the lookout for symptoms of Lyme disease. The tick wasn't on for very long, so I am doubtful that he will get sick. He had a great time and came back with many stories. He saw a snake, and lots of bugs. He was thrilled!

Aunt Molly and I stayed home with little Charlie, working hard to get his weight gain going. He still hasn't gotten up to his birth weight, mostly due to my hard-headedness. I have a hard time admitting that I don't have enough milk and that I have to supplement with formula. It stinks that I can't sustain him by myself. But it is what it is, and since I have been supplementing, he has regained 2 oz in 2 days. Much better. He should be back to his birth weight by 2 weeks, and should gain steadily from here.
