New Highchair!

I found the Rainforest Highchair that goes with all our other stuff on clearance at Walmart today for a big discount so I snagged it. It has a attachable toy that keeps Will entertained while you get his food ready. It then has a nice holder in the back for said toy. It also has the extra tray that can go in the dishwasher. It seems like it will be great and Will really liked it so far. We weighed him today and he was 20 pounds even. Amazing. He is so darn big! Tonight he started to creep military style on the floor, which I was dreading would happen soon, so tomorrow will be a baby proofing day.

A relief from the heat!

Finally we have had a couple of days in the low to mid 80's! I feel so much better and I opened up the house last night and slept in cool fresh air. It was lovely. Next week is supposed to be miserable again so I am enjoying it while it lasts. I am working an extra shift tomorrow, but I think we may get together with Solon and Family on Sunday. I haven't seen the kids in about a month! I will post a couple pictures of Will that made us smile.

Constant Struggle

I really need to find the motivation to get up early and work out daily. I know how much better I feel when I do, I know how much better I sleep when I do. I need to do it for William. As soon as he starts walking I want to be able to keep up with him, and play with him. Right now I know that I do not have the stamina. Before I got pregnant I worked out almost every day, for an hour or more. Then I stopped because it caused contractions and I was scared of a miscarriage. I am doing better on eating, getting back to a PCOS friendly diet, but I know it won't make a bit of difference unless I work out consistantly. The only good time to do it is in the early morning. Will wakes up at about 6am to eat, so I should go to the gym right after that. Instead, every morning I fall back asleep until 8:30 when he wakes up for the day. Ugh! I realize that I am extremely unhealthy, I can't find clothes to fit, I hate the way I look, and feel. I want to do it, but I can't get motivated at 6 am..... Any advice?

Facebook is amazing

It is amazing that you are able to find people that you would never have ever kept in touch with through facebook. Granted, how much could they have really meant if you lost touch with them anyway? It is still a nice way to find out how you rank amongst your peers. We are above average I think. Educated, happily married (and only one time!), and have a baby. We don't own a house, but we aren't settled yet, so that will come in time....

Summer Pics

Though I rarely take him outside when it's really hot, I wanted to get some daylight pics. I think they turned out cute!

Nursing Strike!

Will has decided to stop nursing. All the while I am trying to convince him that he wants to continue nursing. Thankfully in the wonderful book "Touchpoints" by Dr Brazelton, he talks about how many babies seem to be less interested in nursing for a while at this age and if you stick with it, they will start again. So, when he doesn't clean me out, I pump. I took pictures of him looking up at me, just in case these are the final days. I will miss him unlatching and staring up at me with such love.... We are still struggling with naps, in fact he is crying in his room as I type this. Ugh. He sounds so awful, hopefully he will go to sleep soon. I worked this weekend at the clinic. It wasn't bad, and it went fast. Otherwise, we are all fine. Jason is working hard to find America alternative fuel sources, and I am busy raising the little man. He is sitting pretty well for a moment or two and then falls over, he is chewing on everything, and is scooching up to 1 foot to get to a toy. He likes books more and more, but is still more interested in them orally than intellectually. He is sitting now in the tub and has learned to splash, which he finds hilarious, and I find excessively damp. We love him dearly and are having so much fun with him. Tomorrow he turns 5 months!
