William and Tyler cleaning up...Yesterday we went to the Nature Center with William's little buddy from across the hall, Tyler. He is such a nice little guy, and William just loves him. They have a lot in common, both love sticks, trucks, and fruit snacks, so it is a great match! We did great on the potty training in the morning, but it all seemed to fall apart every afternoon. After the nature center we stopped at a consignment shop and William broke the camels back. He was sitting in a wagon and peed in it, so I had to buy it of course, and it was so embarrassing to leave with a wagon with a puddle in the bottom! So, when we got home with 4 changes of wet clothes, a soaked car seat and the wagon- turned potty, I decided that he just wasn't ready yet and put him back in diapers. Thankfully, he still loves the potty and the experiment doesn't seem to have hurt him at all. I feel relieved to have stopped for a while, and I don't feel like I am constantly on alert any more! We had a lovely evening, got ice cream, and played at the park. The weather was so nice, I could barely go inside!
