I get so irritated some times with people. Now that I have had one biological kid, some people just don't get why in the world we would want to adopt. They understood when we were facing infertility, but now that I have a "Proven Womb" they have no idea why I would even consider raising children that are not "home grown". I don't get it. Why is there so much value placed on a life I created, instead of one I can take in a whole new direction? Jason and I are still excited to adopt and bring in children who would otherwise end up with a very minimal chance at success in life. Arrgh.

I think that anyone who has a heart to adopt should. Although I do find it so frustrating that it is so expensive. I think more families would consider the option if it didn't cost an arm and a leg in legal fees.
And the fact that you have to prove absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are excellent people. Two stupid teenagers can do it in a car and get pregnant, but God Forbid you try and adopt an orphan with less than perfect credit reports! For China and Korea you have to have a notorized statement of your Heterosexuality! So embarrassing!
