Today, after I got home from work, we went out in our gorgeous fall weather to a park that runs along side the Potomac. It was very nice, and not very busy. In this spot during the Civil War the Confederates crossed into Maryland from Virginia. We were wondering how they did it though, there really wasn't anywhere we could see that looked shallow enough to ford on foot or horseback.... Moving on! William enjoyed picking up rocks and trying to wade into the river, he also continued the fine tradition, like all little men before him, and picked up sticks. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
