I feel like it is a constantly moving mass of odd items that constantly moves from one flat surface to another. And the floor has become like a giant booby trap, I am constantly almost tripping on something. Yet as I clean it William is immediately behind me taking it back out and seems to be saying "No Mommy, I meant for this to be there." Someday I will have a neat house again and complain because my kids are all gone. :)
It is true! Plus I am alway paranoid when my house is totally clean. Like, who will dare mess it up? Then I am grumpy about how it used to be clean and now it is messy again. So I only pick up when I am feeling totally nuts or lots of people are coming over!
Remember this everyone: There is a huge difference between clutter/messy and DIRTY. Lively happy little (and big) people need to be comfortable in the world. I went to school with a girl who was not allowed in her living room. She is probably in therapy by now.
