To Leash or Not To Leash?
I have always thought baby leashes were demeaning. And then I lost Pudd. Now they seem like a great idea! Now he is walking, and walking fast! He walked one way around a display at Barnes and Noble, I walked the other to cut him off at the pass, and when I came around, HE WAS GONE! I immediately felt panic! He's cute! He's little! He's friendly! Anyone would love to take him! He usually walks from one end of the kids area, by the trains, to the stage area. So as I came around I expected him to be going toward the stage, but he used his new found motion to turn and start up the main aisle out of the store! Thankfully I saw him in less than a minute, but it was the longest minute of my life! So now, how do I keep tabs on him? Keep him in the stroller, force hand holding, the dreaded leash? What do you think?

Update....

The last week has been challenging. The upside was that Tissa and Tim, my Aunt and Uncle came to visit us! The downside involved lots of pain, and the stomach flu. I had a visit with the Carpal Tunnel surgeon on Monday and he did a steroid injection in my right wrist. For a while there the cure was FAR worse than the disease! My wrist was terribly painful and swollen. After a few days though it was feeling great, better than it has in years! No numbness, no shooting pains in my arms, and I can bend my middle finger again! As for William he threw up on Sunday, and continued to vomit and have nasty diapers the rest of the week. Wednesday we had our first "Vomit in the Night" experience as parents. It involved changing all bedding, clothes, and a mini bath. Not fun in the middle of the night. Will and I joined Tim and Tissa in DC on Thursday, but bowed out the rest of the days. Will started a severe bout of diarrhea this morning, so we are hoping it all clears up soon! The doctor said it has been going around the entire region, so I guess it was inevitable that we brought it home.

A New Thing...
Will seems to have caught a new bug. Each morning he has been throwing up. It is really gross. I think it is related to his milk. He will be fine, then drink milk and puke. I remember Meg doing this once, and Gabriela had this recently too. I am really ready for it to be over. I had a cortisone shot in my wrist yesterday so I am limited in my computing abilities. Have a good day!

In a cherry tree...
Today Jason took the day off and we beat the crowds at the Cherry Blossom Festival. It was very gray and nasty though so we didn't take many pictures. We packed a lunch from Whole Foods and had a good time. Will got lots of compliments and was very interested in climbing steps. He met 2 doggies and the horse which he warmed up to right away. The day ended with a scary trip to the ER. Will fell in the tub tonight and bit through his lower lip. Thankfully it didn't need stitches and we only spent about an hour at the hospital. So scary! I hope this doesn't start a trend of ER visits, but he is so accident prone lately!
